Our theme for our Children’s Ministries comes from Deuteronomy 6:5-9:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

We have several ways in which we serve our children and their families including...

Nursery
Serving in the nursery is an opportunity to help care for babies birth to 2 years of age in our covenant community. The nursery works on a rotations schedule. Available times to serve: Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.

Children’s Church
Serving during children’s church is an opportunity to help care for children ages 2 to 3yrs of age. All materials are provided. No lesson is required but is provided. This gives children an opportunity to bond with their church family. Available times to serve are during the following services 8:30 and 10:45.

Junior Church

Is an opportunity to serve on a rotation to help teach our children ages 4 to 7. All materials including the lesson are provided. No preparation is required. Currently only offered during the 8:30 service.

Children’s Sunday School

Volunteers can commit to teach or assist on a quarterly rotation or for the full year. Schedule is as follows: Year commitment is Sept-Aug; Quarterly- Sept-Nov, Dec.-Feb, Mar-May, June-Aug. We currently use Great Commissions Publications for our curriculum. The lessons lead the children through the use of their Bible and provide lessons on Genesis through Revelation. All levels of curriculum include visuals and teaching aids to enable you to teach with confidence and effectiveness. Preparation is required.

Pioneer Clubs

This is our Wednesday evening program that runs August through May. Teachers will teach a lesson provided by our Pioneer Clubs curriculum. Preparation is required. Pioneer club is a more relaxed fun way of learning how to put Christ in every aspect of their life. Children will take part in projects, games, singing, and skill building activities. Children learn about God’s love, Christian values, and how to apply the Bible to everyday life.
